The jury of the European competition “Car of the Year” is preparing to name the winner of this year, but the women have already decided on their favorites. This was reported by the press service of WWCOTY (Women’s World Car of the Year 2021).
The WWCOTY jury includes 50 women automotive journalists from 38 different countries. They annually hold a competition for the title of the best car and name the winners in 9 nominations.
From a huge number of applicants, the top three are immediately selected for each of the nominations, and then the winner is determined.
This year’s voting has been complicated by the coronavirus pandemic, which has placed restrictions on testing candidate cars to win. “However, despite all the difficulties, the jury made every effort to have time to test all the cars that made it to the finals and make their own verdict,” – from the statement of the press service of WWCOTY.
